The time has finally come … The EXPO in Dubai will open its doors on October 1st, 2021 and we are all excited to see what the country pavilions will show under the chosen motto “Connecting minds – Creating the future”. We are absolutely convinced that EXPO 2021 will be an event that will astonish the world.
Because one thing is certain: the emirate of Dubai will once again come up with very special superlatives!
Dubai not only stands for rapid urban development in the last 20 years, the city also stands for particularly courageous and innovative architecture. That is why we are focusing our EXPO trip on precisely this topic!
The architecture trip to the Expo with nice 🙂 offers architects and architecture enthusiasts the perfect mix of workshops, local experiences, architecture sightseeing and many other valuable moments. And of course, sufficient time will be spent on site of the world exhibition during the journey. nice 🙂 offers you VIP access and to take part in special architecture discussions!
During the sightseeing in the city, we will concentrate on outstandingly interesting projects. Accompanied by an architect, we visit the spectacular Museum of Future or the Blue Island project with the Dubai Eye, the largest ferris wheel in the world.
Not far from Dubai is another emirate that has its special features: Abu Dhabi. You can also find unique architectural experiences here!
That is why we are integrating the neighboring emirate into our week-long trip to the EXPO. See the Louvre Abu Dhabi with its specially designed dome, the city of the future in Masdar City and much more….
Depending on your schedule, you can choose to just visit Dubai or combine it with Abu Dhabi.

From Dubai’s tallest building in the world to exclusive insights into new architectural projects in Dubai and / or Abu Dhabi to behind the scenes of the Arab Louvre!

And here is an overview of the days on site:
Day 1
When you arrive at the airport, you can enjoy the VIP service during security and immigration by not waiting in line at the long lines in front of the controls, just walking past them and entering the United Arab Emirates in the VIP Lounge Then the transfer takes you and your guests to the hotel. There you check in at the information desk set up especially for our trip and then have time to relax.
A small midnight snack with chai and Arabic specialties is provided upon arrival at the hotel.
Day 2
In the morning an architecture guide awaits you for the sightseeing program.
After lunch at the Dubai Fountains, at the spectacular Dubai Mall, visit the Museum of Future with an architect who helped build it.
In the evening there is time for a little history, which Dubai also has to offer. In the oriental quarter on the creek, the city’s waterway, your dinner is organized on one of the traditional Dhow boats.
Day 3
With a specialist tour you will experience EXPO 2021 particularly intensively and with a lot of background information. Lunch will take place together in the German pavilion.
Then time for an individual EXPO tour.
In the evening, stay on the premises to watch one of the spectacular shows and have dinner in one of the extraordinary restaurants.
Day 4
Experience the EXPO again today and discover everything that you did not manage on the first day.
Or you can book an excursion to Abu Dhabi. Above all, we are relying on a unique architectural experience under the dome of the Louvre.
And then you have the choice:
- A visit to the Formula 1 racetrack on YAS Island. The tour takes you behind the scenes, where otherwise the racing marshals decide on points and penalties.
- The future up close in Masdar City. This is the most famous CO2 neutral city in the United Arab Emirates. Here the future is no longer a vision but a reality. The visit takes place with the remote-controlled e-mobile technology that connects Masdar City.
- Presentation of the urban development of Abu Dhabi by a German architect. Insights behind the scenes.
A fairy tale from 1001 nights awaits you for dinner. Enjoy your last night under the starry sky in the desert while “glamping”!
Day 5
A journey full of special impressions lies behind you, which has given you many insights into the architecture of the modern Emirates Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Your return journey to Germany starts at noon.
